Who you are?
I work as an Solution Architect at Inmeta Crayon, where I work both with traditional software development on the .NET platform, and with Visual Studio ALM where I help our customers (and ourselves) with getting the best out of Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server.
What makes you “tick”?
Software development in general has always made me "tick", ever since I finally got my ZX Spectrum 48K when I was around 11 years old and noticed that after having played the games it was more fun to create them. Later on, I have realized that a lot of the work involved in developing software are by nature manual and repetitive, and I enjoy developing tools and processes that let us automate these tasks and use our energy to create good software for our customers instead. This is one of the reasons why I have worked a lot with extending Visual Studio and TFS over the last 5 years, and in particular with TFS Build.
Where you live?
I live 15km north of Stockholm, the capital of Sweden.
Where is the place you call home?
Home is where I live, with my family.
Why are you active in the Rangers program?
I think the ALM Rangers are doing a fantastic job with helping people and companies getting started with the different tools and technologies in the Visual Studio ALM suite. A lot of people are looking for best practices and the Rangers material are always of very good quality. I want to bring my knowledge into the Rangers program and work with the talented people in it .
What is the best Rangers project you worked in and why?
I haven't been involved in one yet, but I will start working on the next release of the Build Customization Guide, which I'm really looking forward to.
